March 2026 monthlog
March has been action-packed.
Updates here
- 23 posts this month
- wrote a few posts being happy it's spring: in like a lion, springtime, Happy New Year
- how I'm doing on my ideas for 2026
- two blog carnivals. A title trade with James resulted in three posts Sparking joy, Library memories, and The artist was here
Progresses elsewhere
- so much gardening. The lawn has been mown. A hundred and sixty tomato seeds have germinated. Spring cleaning is happening. The clocks have gone back
- finished a chapter. Taking a break and working on something else before I start the next one. But not a two-year break. Hopefully
- went to a local literary festival event about writing the city, and a local indie publishing festival
- went for a week away, to a Mario-themed birthday party dressed as Toad, a non-themed birthday party, the cinema a few times, a quiz (came third), the orchestra. Baked my first ever cookies, played my fourth ever game of D&D as a player, spring cleaned downstairs, painted the bathroom
Favourites this month
- Deadloch! Season two!
- Turner and Constable Exhibition on Screen
- Project Hail Mary
- a storming performance of Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony, one of my favourites, where immediately as it finished a guy in the audience just blurted out "woohoo"
♫ Dream - Colin Mcleod, Bay of Skaill - The Magnetic North, Vamala - CHAMPS, Rabbit Hole - The Temper Trap, Belongings - Mimicking Birds, You Can Let Go - Half Moon Run, So Certain - Blanco White, I Would Die 4 U - Art School Girlfriend, Time to Lose Control - Walking On Rivers, A List - HVOB, Shy Walker - LABRYS.
